How I met my Boyfriend

How did I meet my boyfriend? We were set up by some friends. Amazingly, we hit it off really well. We went on a couple of dates and before long I found myself back at his place. I began to dread the awkward "I have herpes" conversation. A million different thoughts filled my head. This poor guy! He was set up with the girl who has herpes!! I really like him, what if he rejects me when I tell him? What if he tells everyone he didn't want to date me because I have herpes? Ahhhhhhhhhhh. I decided I was too scared to discuss it tonight. Sex would have to wait.

As we kissed and cuddled on the couch, he stopped to look at me seriously.

"I have to tell you something" he said. "I have an STD. It's herpes. Have you ever been with anyone who has herpes before?".

I stared in shock.

"I have it too" I said stunned. He put his arms around me and said "well now you're even more attractive, if that's even possible!"

What an amazing thing that was to hear! Something I feared would make me undesirable, he considered a bonus!

We are still together today and have a happy and active sex life.
